EinsteinPlus 2023 brought a flurry of activity to Perimeter Institute’s conference rooms as 31 teachers from across Canada and from Australia, Mexico, India, Türkiye, and the US tried out simple experiments and demonstrations that will bring modern physics to life in their classrooms.
Perimeter Institute’s beautiful building was the backdrop for the first in-person Ontario Association of Physics Teachers conference since the pandemic struck three years ago.
Today’s students are tomorrow’s innovators, and it starts with solid grounding in science education. The Perimeter Institute Educational Outreach team is continually developing new educational resources, made freely available on Perimeter’s website and used in classrooms across Canada and around the world.
Attendees of this year’s “Inspiring Future Women in Science” event came away with one message above all others: when it comes to career opportunities in science, there is no shortage of possibilities.
This year’s International Summer School for Young Physicists (ISSYP) brought 40 high school students from 13 countries together in a two-week online school.
